Last Night WIP NSFW (Valda Herrick, Original) (Patreon)

This is my old blood-drinking OC from awhile back, Valda Herrick! I attached the previous pieces I did of her as a reminder since it's been awhile.

I wanted the general vibe of this to be dark but with a hint of comedy -- her expression and the framing with the guy on the bed in the background is something like, "oh shit, what did I do last night?" but instead of a regrettable hookup it's "dammit, I ate a guy again".

"Last Night" as a title is also a bit of a pun because it's about the preceding evening but it's also literally the unlucky fella in the bed's last night.

The initial sketch is very sloppy, but the important stuff for me was the colors and composition. The details I can shape up later, but I'm learning more and more that if I don't have a gameplan for the overall comp and palette before I get into the nitty gritty, I can end up pretty lost.

I've also been working on mousepad designs, but nothing I'm satisfied with yet. Got a Paz and a Tharja in the works so far.
