I beat Malenia a couple days ago and I wanted to celebrate by drawing her -- such an awesome fight and character design. My original plan was to paint elements of this, but I ended up going back to my usual style. The roots in the background were drawn with a sumi ink brush I found in the Clip Studio materials downloader.
