ROUNDUP: March, Week 2 (Patreon)

Had a crazy day yesterday and I completely blanked on making my Friday post, but woke up this morning and realized my mistake. Sorry about that, y'all! But it's here now!

Only a handful of new stuff to share, but it's cool stuff, I think. :)

1. Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid): March 9 is Miku Day (because of the way 3/9 is pronounced in Japanese, it's kind of a pun) and I found a new canvas brush set on Clip Studio Paint so I tried making a painterly Miku. I originally rendered the entire thing as on one layer as a painting, but it looked mushy/undefined so I added the black lineart on top and then more paint over that.

2. Millia Rage WIP (Guilty Gear): Stumbled upon some concept art of Millia from the original Guilty Gear while I was wiki-diving, and her leotard with a big collar and poofy sleeves was too good not to draw. I want some new print designs before I order another batch and I have no GG designs right now, so I decided to set it up as an 11x17. Taking my time with it so it'll look nice (hopefully).

3. Landiza Rho (auction character design): I saw a few artist friends make adoptables/auction characters so I decided to try my hand at it. She's currently available to bid on until 4:00PM CST on my Twitter -- the info about how the auction works is there as well. The part I'm proudest of with this design is that the negative space of her skirt and vest makes a cross. It's not exactly galaxy-brain stuff but I think it's a neat detail.
