Only one new piece of art that I can share this week, and it's a bloody vampire woman, lol. Been working on more stuff I can't post, unfortunately. Fingers crossed that things are less busy next week and I can do more personal work.

1. "Satisfaction" (original character): the aesthetic of blood on snow has been in my brain all week so I started a piece depicting a vampire woman post-meal. It originally had a much more realistic visual style and I wanted to to render it more like an oil painting (that's how I pictured it in my mind), but my lack of experience made that pretty impossible to execute. In the end, I fell back on my more usual anime style.

The vibe I was going for overall was "release". My concept for the backstory of this piece is that this noblewoman has been hiding her vampirism for a long time, and on an extended winter journey where she was isolated from society and her usual prey, she finally breaks down and attacks her fellow travelers. Afterwards she feels a powerful mix of pleasure and guilt. Obviously the specifics of that scenario aren't present in the piece itself, but I hope the feeling comes through.

2. The Fates (Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos): An old series of art, compiled for the first time in one set since I finished them all. My take on the Moirai, the deciders of destiny in Greek mythology. I'm still really happy with how these turned out, if I get a chance, I'd love to rework them as 11x17 prints someday.

Thanks again for your support, everyone. Hope you enjoy your weekend and stay safe.
