March Post (Dinner Break) (Patreon)

I did a ton of sketches in March! A lot of them have a dim/grey background because it's been easier on my eyes than staring down a blank white canvas. I think these turned out really cute, so I hope you guys enjoy them, too.

On another note, I'm taking a break from art for awhile because I hurt my drawing hand! The tendons on the back of my hand seize up and have sharp, shooting pain when I grip anything too tightly or for too long -- and that makes it pretty hard to hold a stylus. I've been trying to do quick sketches on iPad once in awhile, but even that's been hard to manage. So, while I'm waiting for it to get better, I imagine I won't be particularly productive with art.

I'll be working on writing and music in the meantime! If I get anything done that I think is worth sharing, I'll certainly do so. I was looking forward to getting to more events this year and selling in artist alleys, but that doesn't look likely now. Instead, I'll do my best to make stuff that everyone can enjoy from the comfort of their homes. :)
