Hey all,

So I have some bad news regarding my PC. I'm thinking my motherboard ended up dying on my the other day and been spending all yesterday trying to isolate which piece went bad. I'm suspecting only because my other parts have been tested with another rig, but seems like the motherboard specifically's been causing any issues related to BSODs or simply not turning on at all.

I'm gonna need a week or so to research/obtain parts and rebuild my PC. Sorry for the inconvenience :/ Bc of this, I'll release commission info once I can get it up and running again since I couldn't get to finishing updating the commission sheet before it shat itself.

I'm hoping that perhaps my motherboard dying may have been the cause for all of my bad experiences with blender recently, and that having to get a new CPU, mobo, and memory will help with general stability.

I'll keep you guys updated. All-in-all shouldn't be a massive obstacle to deal with, but figured I'd let yall know why I'll likely be a bit quieter in the coming days.

**EDIT**

So great news! Ended up ordering new parts. Was mostly afraid of the shipping time for some water cooling parts but everything should be arriving by Monday! Should be up and running again by Tuesday as I'll need the day to drain, disassemble, and reassemble my rig.

"Should be back at it Tuesday, after i drain all the water from my computer". I'll take "things a computer guy never thought he'd hear" for a thousand, Alex.

R.I.P I wonder what happened that your motherboard suddenly died but let me guess, you went for 7950x or maybe something else ? I hope that now I will finally be able to save some money and finally replace that damn i7 5820K

I hope you can manage to save up too!! The motherboard was just simply breaking apart over time, which was extremely frustrating. USB and fan headers would start to fail, and then the sensor headers failed afterwards, affecting the pump of my custom loop, affecting overall thermals. Ended up going with the 7950X3D, since I plan on using the PC for gaming again primarily after I retire from doing 3D stuff.
