Including filler episodes, Naruto ran for 220 episodes & Shippuden ran for 500 episodes. I'm excited too see your reaction to the next 12 episodes which is the heart of this story arc. There is a significance to Tsunade's necklace, but it has more relevance in Shippuden. As for pronunciations, here's a little help: Tsu-na-de, Ji-rai-ya, & O-ro-chi-ma-ru. If you break down like this, you should have an easier time with some names & words you'll come across (i.e. Tsu-ku-yo-mi & A-ma-te-ra-su).

I think you may have missed one of my comments from 82-83. Basically, I was giving some advice on the watch order for shippuden. The first part of the comment was about the popular fan consensus. The second was some of my personal recommendations.

So if Jiraiya is a womanizer and Tsunade is a gambler does that mean Orochimaru is a Drunk??? One of the great mysteries of the shinobi world… right next to the truth beneath kakashi's mask. (and I know the answer to both)
