Dear Eric, take this for what it’s worth to you: from a complete outsider (as in I only know you to the extent of what you share here and on YT), I honestly worry about your mood swings. Maybe they are not as extreme in real life (as in from very very down on life to extremely super happy in about the space of a week) as they appear here on Patreon. This is in no way a derision and I’m NOT saying not to share them. I only hope that you are aware of them and that you look after yourself and your mental health. Typical Midwest summer. Grew up in Midwest where it was 80 degrees and a half hour later it was 40 degrees and you better look for tornadoes.

Jill, you are a true supporter and caring person. I think that Eric is trolling all of us with the drama queen stuff. Eric knows that drama sells and he is taking advantage of it to the extreme. The oscillation between happy fun times and train wreck keeps people riveted to his story. He is a master manipulator of his good hearted fans such as yourself. The channel has definitely morphed from being a fun and informative travel vlog to more of a tense drama. I have a wild suspicion that Mindy (above) is actually Eric (channeling his Norman Bates like multiple personalities), thus creating the ultimate grifter Patreon account ever.

Yes, I woke up here in Florida listening to NPR coming from University of Michigan. So I knew Detroit was getting hammered. Tornado touched down in Coldwater, west of Detroit. And 59K and more without power. And the south and East Coast are battling a Tropical storm, tornadoes and flooding. This is definitely a time of year wen bad, dangerous weather pops up all over. Stay safe. (To those calling Eric names—I’m puzzled why you pay money to criticize someone on Patreon. Why don’t you just stop subscribing if you don’t enjoy his posts? I can’t help thinking about that You Tuber, a young lady named Lee, who committed suicide a few months ago, after repeated bullying and negative comments. Very sad, and so avoidable if people would just keep negative opinions to themselves.)

I'm from Nashville, TN and the same thing happens there and in AL, GA, KY, IN, etc. It's severe weather season. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I try to plan my visits home so that I miss this. They scare the hell out of me.

I despise the notion of "manning up". Are men not supposed to have feelings? I'm 38 and i've been dealing with depression and anger my whole life. I have my own outbursts. Only an asshole would say to "man up". Basically shut the fuck up. Don't have a feeling at all.
