Meet Larune - Maverick's apprentice, who does everything to seal his place as the next Right Hand. Albeit, his real goal lies well beyond simple service to whoever becomes the next Atherau - Transcendence's leader. He aims for the top, the heart of it, well hidden by a row of heavy, sealed doors. He knows that it exists, and he's set on unlocking those doors no matter the cost.

Being obsessed by the loyalty to the Transcendence as a whole, he will mingle in Maverick's business if he would feel like it doesn't benefits the Cult. He's a pain to deal with, yet he has support from the current leader - Shegu Atherau, who specifically appointed him to Maverick, making the decision to be undisputed.
