Vega, the brightest star that humans who had found her knew of. Something that would remind them of a home and clear skies no more.

Among the foreign stars drifted her dome, a vault of metal, and stone. A thing that would be harvested and left for good, if not a signal would be picked through. A machine? A living being? No one knew. Yet it was agreed to pull it up, and inspect. Stiff as a statue, and heavier than anyone would be expecting it to be. Definitely not dead, either alive. Minds were baffled, confused. Should we leave it or throw away? As conversation peaked up, an electrical wave disrupted spaceship's AI. All went silent, gazing as the creature stood up. It was tall, like man and a half. It stared at them. Were those eyes? Definitely should have. Seconds more. Then it spoke, but not aloud, in brains; and heads of ones who heard it hurt. It was alien, language no one heard, and seeing their pain it stopped, ache no more. Despite all they felt calm, relaxed as it awoke, and so it was decided, the creature will live among them, for now.

Those were peaceful times, gray job then was filled with joy, a company of a quick learner was appreciated even by the ship, who eventually forgave her for the power shortage at the beginning of their acquaintance.

Yet good things could not continue forever, as you all know...

So this is the final rework of Vega, feels great returning to what I am. A bit unstable, sometimes, yet passionate, indeed. Trying different stuff might be useful, but if you had found yourself, don't change the course, don't bent to stereotypes. Follow it until the end. Fake it till you make it.
