"Scare Glow, the evil ghost of Skeletor!"

The description that launched a thousand debates, Scare Glow was a late addition to the evil forces in the MotU toyline, and so had little fiction to go with him at first.

Fans would argue the meaning of that short description for years to come; Was he the ghostly remains of Skeletor himself from some future time? The brief appearance he had in the mini-comic "The Search for Keldor" showed him and the other new villains being summoned by Skeletor from across time and space...

Others held that the description meant that he was a ghostly soldier that belonged to/worked for Skeletor. (This is supported by Faker's description as an "Evil Robot of Skeletor" - meaning he belonged to the villain, as he was plainly a duplicate of He-man.)

In the recent years, Scare Glow has been given a history and name that firmly establishes him as a separate character - the ghost of a cruel bounty hunter named Karak Nul, whose obsession with breaking into Castle Greyskull doomed his soul to torment in a parallel dimension. He was brought back to "life" and Eternia by Skeletor, and is now part of the evil forces. (Speaking of debates, are the good guys or the bad guys the titular "Masters of the Universe"? I have seen evidence for both sides of that one...)
