What's the best in-universe explanation you got for why Jango Fett used a poison dart instead of just shooting Zam with a normal untraceable blaster bolt? Did Palpatine want them to find Kamino (for which deleting it from the Jedi archives would be counterproductive and bring more suspicion toward the clones)?

Maybe blaster bolts are traceable, I dunno. There technically is a physical bolt within the laser, I think. But I think it's perfectly plausible that Palpatine did want to lead the Jedi to Kamino.
