Still can't get over no one correcting my pronunciation for Lycoris this whole time. I will never forgive this most villainous behavior. Also yeah starting a new show is always a struggle but going in with delirious melt brain is always something special ya know. At least hopefully whatever series of words came out of my mouth here made for an entertaining experience. PS. Just want to toss this out here but I'll talk about it in the intro to episode 3 when i get around to recording it. But I suspect there's some folks out there that really wanted me to check out the sub rather than dub, though again I did kind of just decide to roll into the dub and have enjoyed it. I did however after it was mentioned multiple times go back through these first two episodes to give it a shot and see if I felt (at least in a general sense, doesn't help for specific scenes obviously) that I really should consider switching. And personally I decided to stick with the dub, I enjoyed Takina's VA well enough but personally just enjoyed Xanthe in the role a tiny bit more, nothing massive but that's where I landed here. As for Chisato, I actually REALLY loved her JP VA.... the big problem is I really loved Lizzie exactly as much. And everyone else was either about the same or leaned fairly balanced back and forth. So again... I decided I'm going to continue through in dub (THOUGH, if there are important big scenes that the JP VA really shine, once we get passed them please let me know about them and I'll give them a look either on a full rewatch or just a quick check back.) Again hope you all understand. I'ma fan of both subs and dubs and I like to spread the love as much as possible and we've been kind of lacking on dub rep.
