So... What is RWBY: ICE QUEENDOM Exactly? (Correcting Misconceptions / Spoiler Free)

Hey, Hi, Ho and Howdy boys, girls and those who are too beautiful for such plebian titles (I can say that I'm one of them plebian "dudes" you here so much about) I just quickly wanted to make a short video talking about RWBY: Ice Queendom and trying my best to clear up some misconceptions regarding this series and what it actually is. Since the first 3 episodes of the series have come out now on it's early release we've gotten a much better idea of what this show is about and how it works, and I've seen a LOT of misunderstandings in regards to what the explicit purpose of this show is, where it's going and why it was made. For most this isn't too much of an issue as they'll simply figure it out and move on however there are currently already a significant number of people who will not figure it out until it's too late and instead end up blaming the creators for their misunderstanding. There is also simply the issue of new people who haven't watched the original series who don't understand if they can or should watch this series or the original or both or what is the right way of going about this. This video is specifically meant to help clear this up. TL;DW: RWBY: Ice Queendom is not a reboot or replacement for the original series and that series is still continuing to this day, though it does in it's first few episodes condense down and retell the first season of the show so that you know enough for the rest of the series to tell it's story. A side adventure taking place between season 1 and 2 of RWBY primarily focused on the character of Weiss Schnee. It is entirely possible to watch as a newbie and as an old fan though if you are new you will miss out on a number of things in the original show and I would still absolutely recommend watching the original series regardless even if its something you watch AFTER this has peaked your interest a little. I hope this video and this information helps clear up concerns or confusion any new folks might have regarding watching the series, as well as clearing up any misconceptions about it from fans of the series proper and from people who have fallen off the series who will and some already have used the series as a tool against the original with is just completely unnecessary on TOP of just being demonstrably wrong. Again certain elements of this are subject to change as we have only seen the first 3 episodes and do not know how it will end, though based on the information stated from the official parties involved as well as the episodes themselves.. this is what this series is. It's an additional story, not a replacement.
