Patreon Extra Content! Recovered Bunny Suits! (Patreon)

Hey Patreons, got some interesting messages from a couple of you about the less ethical side of modding - people that take (steal) content without permission then recombine into their own mods. 

This is a thing that tends to happen more among non-english speaking communities, simply because the language barrier makes it more difficult for them to understand the reasons that we do things the way we do in the Genshin modding community (ultimately we want things to be sustainable for all the stakeholders; the player community, the modding community, and also the game developers!)

For the most part, there's little to do about this kind of behaviour - ultimately we don't really sell things here, we're making playable fan art - and you guys help to sponsor the huge amount of work that goes into it, to which we're hugely grateful and appreciative. Like the stuff we make fan art of, it's a form of compliment and appreciation when others make fan art of our own works - and while we prefer it when it transforms the work more completely - like an illustration of our mods as some have done! But ripping our mods and remixing/kitbashing it is also a form of fan art - like photoshopping an illustration, or using collage techniques on photographs.

Still - in general, especially in these cases, as a matter of basic respect, it's desirable to ask for permission to do these things to other's works... given that so much of our work is present in these mods, I thought it'd be neat to share these among the same patreons that helped to sponsor their creation, at least in part!
