Hello, everyone! Because the game is becoming extraordinarily big(thanks to the game’s generous supporters), I open this vacancy.

I’m looking for a writing partner to work on Dryad Quest RPG. It might be just you if you:

  • Have proficient Writing Skills (novels/fanfiction, or narrative design, or screenwriting)
  • Have rich experience of playing RPGs(tabletop and/or CRPGs)
  • Have desire to learn and do research
  • Enjoy Dryad Quest and want to see the game grow

Things you are going to do:

  • Worldbuilding(places, characters, communities, etc)
  • Writing Events and Quests the player stumbles upon during their journey
  • Level Design(identify where the events take place relative to each other on the dungeon’s map and how these locations look. Be able to draw a rough draft of the map with pencil & paper or a graphics editor of your choosing. Nothing fancy or remotely beautiful, just something that will help us all be on the same page.)
  • Game Design(enemies and their stats & skills, items, balance)

Additional Skills that are NOT necessary in any way but something that would be a plus:

  • Familiarity with Web Programming or JSON format
  • Marketing Skills
  • Music/Sound Effects Composition

About Payment:

  • It’s negotiable and depends on your qualification.
  • It’s limited by how much support the game recieves. I’m not rich and the game’s generous supporters is the only source of my income as of today so if you are a genius with lots of experience I might not be able to fully compensate you from the get-go; but once the game gets more support, it won’t be a problem.

If you’re interested, contact me in Discord with the following resume:

  • My writing experience(e.g none, 1 year, 5 years, etc):
  • My experience of working on games before:
  • Link(s) to the examples of my work(writing and/or game development):
  • How many hours I can put in the game’s development in a week:
  • How I can improve/expand on the game:
  • The idea/aspect that I would like to work on first:
  • What I think the game needs most right now:
  • My favorite aspect/scene in the game:
  • My favorite books/games:
