I enjoyed it, but I agree that they stepped it up. You can tell the budget is not the highest, but I can’t see any major production issues. Had all the same feelings as you. Hospital rooftop scene was definitely H3 Trapped vibes. The whole theme of the show is H5 vibes, especially since he wants to go back to a relative who died. They even had the scene where the time traveler tries to get hit by lightning. One big difference is that Kiew found his friends in this timeline which gives so much extra to the story. The President of the Beautiful Fish Association was hilarious. I do not remember Episode 1 being this funny. Kiew inventing amnesia to get back at Bamee. And then the last 2 minutes of every trope we can think of. (I swear the only BL I have ever seen a hair dryer in is We Best Love.) But they cute, so I’ll allow it.
