I recently saw an interesting, and quite well done, animation by GreatM8 involving a character who was invisible. I reached out to them about collaborating on a VR project, but it fell through. SOOO I decided to try it on my own, with a little help from an animation by ProcrastinatingLazily.

I spent about a week trying to get the effect I wanted, and after many, many renders I realized it was just too much work to get such a simple effect up to my standard in VR. Simply put, I wanted the penis to disappear inside the sorcerer with each thrust. And I did manage to get it working... kind of. Between green screening, animating in After Effects, and very many renders, I did have a finished product. But it just didn't look as good as I wanted it to. So I'll probably come back to something like this down the road once I am better and more knowledgeable in such things. For now, you'll just have to settle for the penis to be visible at all times. On the plus side, I'm very happy with the lighting in this. I managed to hit a pretty high contrast shot but keep the lighting soft where it mattered. Win win in my opinion.

Yeah yeah, there's nothing all that difficult about just making the model invisible for the animation. The thing is, the animation is completely animated to be visible, so there are little things that really make a difference in realism and immersion. She pulls her top up, adjusts her jewelry as she leans back, moves your hands to grab her thighs, etc. I know there are going to be haters. Hell, we already got our first on VRPorn about it. But until we try new things, we aren't going to learn. And fail. And learn some more.

For those of you who are interested in SFM maps, this is one I had ported a while back that I still have yet to release on SFMLab. Bonus points to anyone who recognizes it and can guess it's origin!
