Poison didn’t actually poison you in your latest sparring match, thankfully. But the powdery substance that she sprinkled on the match floor is meant to harmlessly simulate the effects of poison, should either of you face a combatant that does use such dirty tactics. After the practice fight, you two can bang one out to clear your heads!

Can I just say how excited I am to finally have a great Poison model to work with, as well as an artist who loves working with her?

Question. Is it difficult to make vids where there's a beginning, middle, and end? I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, I legitimately would like to know. The Ophelia one that was posted awhile back, while short, was great. Other than that, most of these seem like 0:05 second clips that are just looped

Another great looking animation but it has the same issue as the other stoned-dude animation, it makes no sense from a sex perspective. The bodies are basically working against each other and not with each other.

DarkDreamsVR

First off, I don't think you're being a dick. That's a fair question, and one I am happy to answer. I have nothing to hide, as my team and I are doing the best we can with what we have. I will say this to preface: most of our recent animations are around 10-15 second animated loops, with 30 seconds of looped sound. We used to have only 2-3 second loops with no sound, but started pushing for longer and longer animations with more sound and better quality. Mind you, I still try to do the occasional long one. Take, "The Yule Ritual" for instance. It took me a literal week of rendering, and that's just the rendering. That didn't count adding the sound and post work, compressing, and just setting up the scene. Or how many times it failed to render correctly because we pushed SFM too far. https://www.patreon.com/posts/yule-ritual-32620575 Now. to answer your question, yes, it is difficult to to make complex videos within a short amount of time and have them be of high quality, especially in regards to VR. The reason we are able to put out so much content is because we work with so many different artists to bring their work into VR, and I work every day to bring a new animation into VR. If I am not working on setting an animation to be rendered for VR, then I am working on adding post work and sound, or compressing or actually rendering, or handling other Dark Dreams matters such as scene building for a Studio Release or posting here on Patreon. It all comes down to time. This is just me I am speaking for, not my teammates. We have our studio releases which are longer in length (old ones were 30 seconds, then jumped up to 60 seconds, then I finally found a team to work with and now we're up to a minute and a half minimum) which are probably more in line with what you're looking for length wise, and those release on average every 2-3 months. We used to do them monthly, but the quality was horrible so I did away with the monthly time limit. It would be pointless to have a longer, studio built video that was crap quality to meet a deadline we set ourselves. Now the team has the time it needs to get the sound effects, music, voice acting, animation, scene building, models, lighting, etc. where it needs to be before we release them. Hopefully this answers your question, and hopefully you didn't take these as excuses, but explanations. Dark Dreams is still very much growing, and as we get better, and as the artists we collaborate with get better, so will the videos. Hell, look at some of the first animations I did compared to now. Anytime I am feeling down, that's what I do. We've come a long way. I apologize if this reply doesn't make the most sense or isn't super organized. I've been busy getting ready to move plus trying to get ahead to make sure I have content for all of you while I am travelling to my new home and it's late and my ADHD is taking over. I tend to speak my mind as my thoughts come to me. Thanks for your support! Take care.

DarkDreamsVR

I'm not sure what to say. Stoned Dude is only getting better with their animations.

DarkDreamsVR

Do you have something constructive I could pass on? Or something I could use to improve it? I'm at a loss for words otherwise.

KL

Wow, now that's what I call a response lol. I dont see any of this as an excuse, at all. I was genuinely curious because "money shot" vids are pretty rare and I was wondering why. I have faith in Dark Dreams (one of the only two patreons I support) so you'll have my meager $10 contribution for awhile. Just dont forget about us when you finally blow up and make it to the top!

DarkDreamsVR

I am glad for your contribution. If I could do this off of just likes and comments, I would. But I have to pay the bills, as well as make sure the Dark Dreams staff and our fellow artists we collaborate with are taken care of for their time and skills. So thank you for your support! I'm glad to hear to hear you don't view these as excuses. Personally it's difficult to not see everything as a personal attack, as this is all so important to me. So I just do my best to answer the question honestly and see what I can learn from the interaction. I have to remember that someone in your shoes might see these as excuses if I insert myself into the situation too much and take it personally, and I don't want that. So honesty without beating around the bush is what I try to give. I don't have a "lack of caring" attitude by any means, but I don't want the support of anyone who doesn't enjoy our work or what we have to offer, either. We put out content often, in high quality, and I am always striving to make it better. If what we are putting out isn't to someone's liking, I try to remind them of what they aren't thinking about at the moment such as comparisons to other options or reminders of other videos we have done, and if they still disagree, then it's their choice. I have a strong loathing for "artists" who make tons of money doing nothing, when you have actual artists that bleed to the bone on a daily basis and are starving. But now I am getting tired and starting to rant... off to bed I go. And you don't have to worry about me forgetting any of you. I don't think I want to make it to the top. I just want to express myself, meet other cool artists, make cool things, and help people around the world have some awesome orgasms in VR. Good night.

Yeah man, when two people are fucking, the thing that feels the best is when they are working together, both people pulling apart at the same time, and then moving together at the same time. The last two animations from him have been the opposite of that, basically the dude pushes in, the girl bounces up at the same time. I am not trying to just talk shit about the animation, because the animation itself is very very well done. I just meant it as constructive criticism, but did not really explain it that well. Also it's not just him that does it, I notice it a lot all over.

DarkDreamsVR

I appreciate you taking the time to explain yourself. And I do understand what you're saying. Although one COULD argue that the animation is meant for her being more passive and him doing most of the work, I agree that the animation would be better if they were working in tandem with one another. Again, thank you for explaining yourself. I'll see if it's possible to bring this up to Stoned Dude.
