Let's talk about what the approach might be for the stylization.

At first I did a quick sketch from a photo of the neighbors' dog. (It didn't turn out very well, so let's not show it to them). At first I tried to change the proportions of the individual parts, but nothing interesting came out of this, so I used another way: in drawing each of the three versions I kept in mind a basic simple shape. First a heavy and massive square, then something nice and chubby (a circle), and finally a fast, dynamic wedge or oval shape.

As a result, we got three different portraits because of the impression they make on us: a reliable protector, a fun puppy and a guy who has something to hide from you.
