We're getting pretty meta today as I use some hi-fi equipment to play a song. Like...the sounds...are coming from the sound system... It's hard to actually explain this. But hopefully you enjoy the video!

I made this in partnership with Sony, who provided all the equipment. They didn't want the video to be longer than 90 seconds, but I'm hoping to convince them that a part 2 would be worthwhile as I thought I got more interesting sounds out of the products in the second half of the song!

Actually, the beats from 1:16-1:26 were the first thing I came up with, because I really wanted to do something highly detailed and sonically varied. But as I played more with all the sounds I collected I realized there was room for a much funkier track if I added some vocals. That led to a fun hook, some tempo changes, rap verses, and of course, lots more beats.
