Hey team!

Elektron sent me a Digitone and I figured it would be fun to explore in a video as I've been making lots of tracks with it! Check that out here.

Several comments mentioned that my explanation of FM synthesis from that video should be broken out into its own piece of content, so I did that for yesterday's video which is here.

As I mentioned in my last post, I'm needing to slow down a bit to keep my head on straight, so I'm trying to find ways to make my YouTube work not so all-consuming as it has been recently. One of those things will be not sending out every single work-in-progress - I'd really prefer that the polished versions of my pieces would be the ones most readily available, and I've been feeling like the balance lately has tipped towards sharing more half-finished than finished material.

So there are 6 original tracks in that Digitone video, and they all need polish. But they will get it! And many other tracks too. Part of slowing down with YouTube is to put more time and energy back into music, rather than how much of it has to go to video right now. I'm really excited to share all the music I have in my brain with you when it's ready.

Haven't made a plan with the videos yet, and they won't come to a standstill, they're just gonna chillllll for a bit.
