How about a double release today? :) 1/2

Presentation of Results!
"Takumi-san, if a troublesome person approaches, report it to one of the three of us immediately."
"Got it. Please take care of it."

Since they offered to handle any troublesome matters, I gratefully accepted.

"Allen-chan and Elena-chan, you shouldn't deal with adults who act arrogantly."
""Understood~""

Following me, Chris-san also warned the children.

"Oh, by the way, what happened to the 'Dill-san Leads the Way, Let's Collect Branches from the First Floor Plan'?"
"Don't give it such a strange name. Dill will be angry if he hears it~"
"Hahaha, please don't tell Dill-san about it."
"Oh my, Takumi-san, you’re surprisingly playful~ Well, anyway, regarding the results of that plan, we were able to get just one piece."
"Eh... just one?"

As a result, it seems they were able to collect something. But, just one... that's too few, right?

"Did the experiment end as soon as you got one piece?"
"No, we persisted for a day and only got one."
"Eeh!?"

I thought they would get more... but just one, huh.

"Couldn't you break more?"
"Couldn't you find more?"

The children also seemed to think it was too few and tilted their heads curiously while asking Chris-san the reason.

"It seems there were a few times when the branches broke. However, they couldn't find the pieces that flew away."

Chris-san answered the children's sudden question matter-of-factly.
Apparently, there were a few more instances of the branches breaking.

"Didn't you have people positioned to catch the flying pieces?"
"We did our best. But they just couldn't find them."
"I see..."

Finding the flying pieces was harder than I thought. The children found them fairly easily, so I didn't think it was that difficult.
However... should we consider it a success since they got one, or was it a disappointing result because they only got one... it's a tough call.

"That's how it went on our end. So, how about your results, Takumi-san?"
"We... well, we got more. You need them, right? —Kaiser, the branches, please."
"Oh, right. The same number as before, correct?"

Kaiser boldly took out the branches of emerald and diamond and laid them on the table.

"""What!?"""

Ethan-dono, Chris-san, and Patrick-san were struck speechless with surprise.

"... Real branches of emerald and diamond. Wonderful. —Takumi-san, may I touch them?"
"Yes, please do."

Patrick-san was the first to move, carefully taking a branch and examining it closely.

"Wait, hold on, really!? Already!? Does this mean you’ve collected all types already!?"
""We’ve collected them all~""

Next to move was Chris-san, who was banging on the table in excitement.

"I expected that you all would eventually collect every type, but I didn't expect it to be this fast."
"Unexpected~"
"We hear that a lot~"
"... Come to think of it, you did say that."
""We said it~""

Ethan-dono, looking exhausted, sank deeply into the sofa and gazed up at the ceiling.

"Is it always like this with you, Takumi-san?"
"Well... more or less, yes."

Watching Chris-san and Ethan-dono, Patrick-san had a somewhat exasperated expression, one that was hard to describe.
… It was the same look that Cedric-san often had when he was at a loss for how to react.

""Hey, hey, Pat-chan""

With Chris-san and Ethan-dono out of commission, the children turned to Patrick-san.

"... You mean me, don't you?"
"Allen, Elena... it's rude. Let's call him properly by his name. —Patrick-san, I’m sorry. Recently, they’ve gotten into the habit of using nicknames..."

Following Lord Ethan being called E-chan, the children had given Patrick-san a nickname too.
… I wish they wouldn’t add "chan" to the names of grown men.

"Being called 'Pat-chan' is a bit embarrassing. How about 'Rick' instead?"
""Rick-san?""
"Yes, that's right."
""Rick-san! By the way, do you have a wife?""
N?"
""A wife, do you have one?""

The nickname was settled, but Allen and Elena suddenly started asking a puzzling question.

"Allen, Elena, do you mean to ask if he is married?"
""Yes!""
"I see. Yes, I am married. Unfortunately, my wife stayed behind in Guardia, so I can't introduce her to you."
""I see~""

It seems Patrick-san is married. But why did the children want to know this?

"Allen, Elena, why do you want to know if he's married?"
"Oniichan! Can we give him the glass butterfly?"
"Oniichan! We want him to take it as a souvenir!"
"Ah, I see. Yes, that's fine."

Allen and Elena wanted to give the glass butterfly they obtained in the dungeon to Patrick-san's wife as a souvenir. Was it their way of making up for any inconvenience they caused by being here?

"What color should it be? —Patrick-san, what color is your wife's hair and eyes?"
"My wife? She has blonde hair and green eyes..."
"In that case, maybe green or white?"
""Green!""
"Got it. —Patrick-san, how about making a decorative item for your wife with this?"
"This is... a beautiful piece."

I took out a green butterfly from the Infinite Storage and handed it to Patrick-san.
I’m not sure how common these crafted items are, but it's pretty and cute, so it should make a nice gift.

"Wait a moment! What is this!"

Seeing the butterfly in Patrick-san's hand, Chris-san instantly revived.

"What do you mean? It's a dropped item from the Glass Forest beyond the twenty-third floor."
"What the hell!"
"... Huh?"

Chris-san doesn’t know about the glass butterfly loot?

"Did you say the twenty-third floor!?"
"Ah, that's what surprised you."
"You've already reached the twenty-third floor? You mentioned the twelfth floor last time!"
""We've gone up to the twenty-sixth floor~""

It seems they were more surprised by the floors we cleared rather than the butterfly.
We weren't actively hiding our progress, but we weren't going out of our way to announce it either. The kids sharing it isn’t really an issue... right?

"Twenty-six!? Your progress speed is unbelievable! And about that butterfly craft! I didn't know the Glass Butterfly even existed!"
"Huh, that too!?"

But it seems Chris-san was also surprised by the glass butterfly.

"Wait, these aren't common?"
"This is the first time I've seen one!"
"Wow. What about glass beads with patterns or glass flowers?"
"Those are fairly common, yes."

It’s a relief that glass beads and flowers were common.

"The Glass Butterflies don’t attack, and they’re hard to spot, so maybe they’re just overlooked?"
"Oh, is that so?"
"They blend in with the Glass Forest. We had to go out of our way to find them."

Since they’re hard to notice, people might have been missing them.

"Takumi-san, please! Can you provide detailed information? And could you sell some of those crafted items to the Guild?"
"Ah... Information is no problem, but... the items..."

Chris-san asked if I could sell the glass butterflies, and I looked over at the kids.

"Allen, Elena, what do you think?"
""One each?""
"Just one is fine! Please!"
""Hmm... do you really want them?""
"Really!"
""Okay, then~""

With the children’s permission, we decided to sell one of each of the four colors of butterflies.
However, since these items had never been obtained before, Patrick-san hesitated to accept them. Still, since they were originally intended as souvenirs for the women of the Ruven and Risner families, we insisted one should naturally go to Patrick-san's wife in the Risner family.
