Update: What am I working on? (Patreon)

Hi there People!
Since the next project might take a while I just wanted to share with you the... thought process (?) behind it. I hope you find it interesting.
Usually, when I make animations, it all starts with me testing something new and then keep building context around it.
I'll share with you some very very poorly made stuff, but at least you kinda get the idea of how I develop theese and what challenges can pop up while doing so.
All without going into much detail to not bore you to death.
Again, I hope you'll find this interesting, if so, please let me know. I actually don't mind sharing some WIP info, just not sure when to do so since it spoils the whole surprise and anticipation eheh
Also I'll share some links here, if for some reason you want to keep these badlooking WIPs feel free to download them, as I may end up ereasing them in the feature to save space!

The idea was to have the physics on the whole body instead of a bunch of spheres glued togheter and make that inflate to a big rounded shape. Since her powers kinda would've fit I choosen to use Mrs Incredible again.
First issue, the mesh of the body works until a certain extent with the cloth physics I use: if I keep inflating, the shape would feel like more of a suit inflation for my eye.
I mean it's usable, I'll end up using this method actually, but the mesh destroys soon after this point, and becomes unusable or the limbs kinda strech weirdly.
I was able to get this out of it for now:

> So at this point I needed another mesh for the inflationn phase 2, a more spherical one.
I quickly built this star shape thing to test the physics and this is what I got:
Looks super horrible, but it's getting somewhere

Ok... Now I needed some quick textures:

At this point I was convinced it could actually work good for something like blueberry or so... we'll see soon with some other unfortunate char maybe.
Back on track, I decided to have another inflation phase in between the two using the said sphere glued togheter method.
Using that I waas able to get something like this:

Ok, cool, everything's working, now I need to come up with a context, and maybe a small story.
I wanted this to happen in some kind of city square or plaza, so I quickly smashed togheter a few assets, modeled a few things and...

Well it was very messy, so I really needed to smooth things out. And that's why I deleted everything and made this:
Much better looking!
I'm currently texturing it and it will take a while, and also I still need to add more stuff to liven it up, but I think I nailed what I had in mind eheh

In this animation I'll try to invest a bit more time than usual, to test what I've learned so far, so I'm not really sure when the release is gonna be, but I'll let you know.

As I destroy entire maps, I can change plans on whatever thing until it's finished. eheh
