I'm sure Toon Kritic and I could have worked something out if he didn't play the overzealous salesman that gets on my nerves so quickly. But I guess the fashion industry in general does that to me. I'm surprised he let himself hit the ground like that.

In my opinion, the best thing an episode can do is build the plot on top of itself. The little things like the way Sassy Saddles and Rarity debated, the relatively realistic business decisions they made with their consequences, even Sassy's motivations in terms of behavior are what makes episodes like this great.

The copious amounts of alliterations, puns and rhyming always helps too. But that's subjective.


Although that Fashion Plate character drove me up a wall faster than any other character thus far. I think he was giving me flashbacks to high school drama club and all of that unpleasantness. But that's a story that doesn't need to be told here.
