Greetings, In this installment, I examine the practicality of being trustworthy with our friends' secrets. I also discuss my thoughts on why secrets exist, need to be kept and when it's better to not keep them as well as the thin line between helping to mediate between friends and not being trustworthy when they trusted you. Remember that the key is to study situations and find the best solution. Don't rush to a conclusion. Don't act selfishly while trying to help. There's another level of trustworthiness that wasn't mentioned in the episode but is something I feel needs to be said. A lot of trust issues come when we confide in our friends only to have them take advantage of this information for their own gains or if they start viewing us in a negative light once they know our weaknesses. If someone confides their problems to you and opens up about their personal flaws; be forgiving and don't let it affect your love for them. "Green Isn't Your Color" was a good demonstration of these concepts. The only way it could have been better is if Rarity and Fluttershy had been forward with each other from the beginning. But if that had been the case, we wouldn't have gotten to enjoy the episode, would we? I was very pleased when they took the lesson in the direction of being honest with each other. Most cartoons tend to make things like this either inconsequential, hammer themselves out without any real effort from the characters or they allow it to turn into an uncommunicative sitcom where I end up shouting at the screen, "For God's sake just talk to each other like normal people." I hate it when that happens. Make Suggestions: Ponies News Brony Topics General News/Current Events Episode Reviews Fanfiction Reviews Product Reviews Contact: http://brawny-buck.tumblr.com
