When you are traveling and staying at a hotel, do you prefer paying more for one that’s got fancy extras like a spa, fancy shower, nice restaurant/bar downstairs, etc, paying for a mid range place that has things like free breakfast, little shop downstairs with snacks, maybe even a less fancy restaurant in the hotel as well or do you prefer to pay for a cheaper option like a motel that’s clean, has a mini fridge, TV, cable, free wifi but it’s nothing special? For me, it kinda depends. I enjoy all of those options depending on the situation, where I’m going, how much of my time will be spent in the hotel/motel, etc. When I’m on a road trip I’ll typically stay at a Motel 6 on the way to my actual destination. When I want to spend a lot of time in the hotel I’ll either pay for a more expensive place or find a cute, vintage style mid range hotel or bed and breakfast that’ll be cute and relaxing with tv and wifi (which this is the option I usually go with out of the two cause I like to be frugal).
