April update (Patreon)

Not a lot to report in the code side. I've been looking at a few things but also haven't had as much time to spend on RetroPie as usual.

It's not unusual for me to spend 30+ hours a week on RetroPie on top of my day job. But in the last few weeks I've not had as much free time. I appreciate the support from everyone here - thanks.

Regarding changes:
Amiberry updated upstream but there have been issues. I have fixed the amiberry module to install v3.3 for now until the problems have been resolved. They look like they are mostly fixed but only in the dev branch.

The SDL 1/2 backend configuration changes I mentioned are still not merged as I wanted to go over it further. But I hope to have this included soon.
