Docs poor man Exedrin Migraine medicine. 1 can of coke or one shot of espresso. 200 mg of ibuprofen. 325 mg of Tylenol. 81 mg of Aspirin. Slam the coke/espresso with the ibuprofen, Tylenol and aspirin. Boom no more migraine. Only do this is you aren’t allergic to the meds. Do not do this if you are dehydrated. If you go to urgent care. Ask for a Toradol shot 30/60 mg and Phenagren. You will need a driver to go home.

I've been getting migraine headaches since receiving a serious head injury in the Army back in May of 82. What a number of Nam veterans told me to try was have someone read or record them reading a favorite book, audiobooks weren't a thing back then. Anyway, then listen or play it at the lowest volume you can still understand, while laying down in a dark room. I had my 1st wife (RIP) record herself reading "The Hobbit", a book I loved and could almost recite. It gives me something to concentrate on other than the pain without having to work that hard on following the plot. Like I said, it has been helping me for 40 years now.
