Good morning! This week's map is a garden based on those of Persia (and its regional successor states); designed for spiritual and leisurely relaxation and contemplation.

Unfortunately, this is a battlemap, so activities here are probably not going to be very relaxing. Perhaps the local satrap is set to have a bad day.

I think technically this is an erronous layout for a persian garden? I don't know if the aqueduct's presence disrupts the symmetry rule. But having the aqueduct to interact with seemed like a better choice than to leave it out.

The purpose of the water features are, of course, primarily irrigation for the gardens. There are probably soil-facing drains in the water feature walls to allow the soil to soak up moisture. Considering the rate of flow from the aqueduct, the water may also be feeding somewhere else.

Water elementals are fun. Consider having a water elemental guardian. Water elementals can be bribed too.
