The Falcon (11x19) (Bonus map for Enthusiasts+ due to missing last week's variant) (Patreon)

Woo, I had fun making this. Drawing tablets make drawing actually quite a bit more fun than using a mouse. My work is a lot better, too.

This map is to make up for the Tendo Dojo not having a variant, so it's only available to the Enthusiast tier and above. It's a small interstellar ship with little in the way of luxuries and space tight enough to make a smuggler blush. It comes in three liveries, Red, Blue, and Planeptune.

Originally, I had really, really overdone the texturing. I wasn't satisfied with it but almost uploaded it anyways, but the idea struck me at the last second to strip off the excess detail and try a flat color. It wasn't quite right, but then I tried applying a different texture than the hatching I usually use, and suddenly it looked beautiful. I still had the exported PNGs available, though, so I decided to add them to the zip folder too in case you happen to like them more. I included one of them in the post images for comparison's sake. As a final bonus, I'm including the raw .kra files with this map too. Dissect my layers! See how they work!

I'm really happy with the way this one turned out. It reminds me of Starbound, (a terrible game in my opinion that I regret kickstarting, but it had a nice art style) or perhaps Scribblenauts. Since I'm so happy with it, I'm finally going to stop being schizophrenic with my map styles and make the next few similar to this one. I hope you like it as much as I do. Enjoy the map!
