Ahoy Tribe! Well hurricane Blas went by last night. We're tucked in really good at Barra de Navidad. Most wind we saw was 40 knots. Still a bit unnerving to be so close but we are okay and hope to set sail again for Puerto Vallarta this weekend. Sending you all many hugs and good vibes and hope you enjoy this weeks video! FISH ON!!! Gigantic Mahi, Whales, and a Mackerel 😉 SV Delos ep 372

Untie from the dock, set up the deep sea fishing gear, and point the bow at the horizon. It feels amazing to be back in the Pacific Ocean! Moments after setting out we find Delos surrounded by 4 whales, then before the excitement can die down the whir of the rod jolts us into action. FISH ON!!! we scream. I'm a little rusty as the fishing was less than hot on the other side... But finally we remember how to do it and land a beautiful mackerel, followed by an amazingly huge mahi-mahi to boot. We successfully round Punta Mala, do a quick surf and head towards Isla Coiba for a week of scuba diving.
