Anyone else skin crawl from all those mushrooms

Spawning a mushroom in someone’s esophagus is so fucked.

MrsETNRL4L .

Attack on Titan has fire opening themes. Haikyuu's make you want to get up and excercise. Love!

they expect that everyone is watching multiple anime across the week or took a longer break between watching episodes

Nah I think AOT openings are all the same. The only different one was this past season that I dropped from boredom. But I think even though it was different it still wasn't good. I expected more from it. It just gets so repetitive.

I think Rana got out of doing the todoroki hair. I think the videos when both times were brought up ended up hitting the like goal.

The Japanese language is full of homonyms, because a lot of Japanese vocabulary was imported in ancient times from China, where people speak in tonal dialects. Japanese language is atonal, so words that sound different in Chinese sound the same in Japanese. Because of all these homonyms, there are a lot of puns in Japanese humor. "Manga" is far from the only character with a pun name. Some are Japanese names that sound like the pronunciation of English words - Ashido is "Acid" (ah-shi-do), Sero is the "cello" from "cellotape / sellotape". Some are Japanese language puns, like Midoriya contains "Midori", which means green, Sato is a common Japanese surname, but also a homonym for "sugar". Fumikage Tokoyami's name is poetic, written with characters that mean "eternal", "darkness", "walking", and "shadow" - so you could loosely translate it as, "neverending darkness, walking through shadows".

Am I crazy or did I miss the regular cut?

My favorite is Katsuki Bakugo. Katsuki contains katsu which is kinda like saying "boom" or "bang" in Japanese. Which is why Deidara from Naruto uses it as his activation phrase to blow up his clay sculptures. And then Bakugo contains baku which translates to "bomb".

This is two months later lmao but 'Shouto' is written with the kanji for 'burn' and 'freeze' 'Enji' (Endeavor) is written with 'flame' and 'ruler' And all of the One for All users names have their number in it- Izuku is the 9th holder, and 'ku' is pronounced the same as '9' All Might's name is Yagi, which has the kanji for '8' And his teacher's name was Nana, which is how you pronounce '7'
