you missed the symbolism and irony of Jimmy using water to clean his shoes in the beginning, to having to sip drops and piss later on.

Great ep, great reaction! One thing you may have forgotten is that Mike was a military sniper in Vietnam. That's one of the explanations for him being such a great shot - he was a sniper in the war then came home and became a cop, retired due to the matty situation and now this. Gives a little more context into his near superhuman aim lol

I think you guys had it confused; Mike isn't the "friend of a friend". The quote you're referring to is "I know a guy that knows a guy that knows another guy"--Saul was referring to Gus, not Mike. Saul/Jimmy never met Gus.
