STILL sitting at my desk crying always. This show is so well done. I can't wait for the next season.

I think the red room was probably one of the best twists this story had. It was so benign , but had soo many implications . (Also if you notice, every version of the red room has a red object ) Food for thought: I think someone mentioned how the cinematogrpahy for all their halucinations and dreams are very similar to the ending scene ( where they are all huddled around luke and his cake). The cake is also quite disntictly red. :D

Every like is the amount of time Pat was dropped on his head as a baby.

What’s shows next on this slot.

Saiara

It was an awesome journey rewatching this show with you all. Looking forward to the uncut for your reaction to the "confetti" scene. Yes, please do watch the compilation video of background ghosts!

Charlotte

The Red Room reveal is cool. if you ever rewatch the show, you'll notice confusion from Mrs. Dudley if one of the kids mention the tree house or the game room, etc. It's a great show. I really loved it.

Johnny Blue

That Red Room reveal was outstanding. I didn't even think about the window looking the same and in the same spot as all the other made-up rooms. Mrs. Dudley reacting to Steve's comment about one of the rooms was a giveaway I didn't notice in the earlier episodes.

Johnny Blue

I can't wait for the Ghost Compilation video reaction. It's almost unsettling how many they added.

Thanks for the shout out! I thought that was a cool moment in the show, cool that you agreed Suraj, thanks! 👍😊 Ugh this finale always makes me cry, such a beautiful ending. Nelly's scenes and speech are my favorite .... My first watch I interpreted Nell at the grave scene as saying "don't go" but out of order in eps 4 & 5, aka don't go to the house. But on second watch she's actually telling him not to join the tea party at the end, she says the same thing in the tea party scene. It makes so much sense because her gift deals with time, precognition, seeing the past and future, like confetti as she says. It's why, if you notice, her scattered thoughts at the beginning of her monologue is her answering everyone's questions before they ask.

Easily one of the best directed, acted, written, and produced shows Netflix has to offer. Can't wait for the second season "Haunting of Bly Manor" new story, new characters (although many of the same cast)

Oh and! When the young dad walks into the Red room, the mom's look at Steve over the dad's shoulder is creepy af - she agreed to let the kids go but she is NOT happy about it lol

Angelica

The only one who saw the dad dead on the ground was Steve. I think Theo bumped into him when they were carrying Luke to the car. But the dad says to Steve thank you for not telling them what you saw. Also Olivia telling Luke that he’s been knocking on the door for years refers to his drug use and probably close calls he’s had in the past. It’s been said he actually did die, but because of Nell he came back to life. Great reaction!

Can't wait for the ghost compilation video! I was shook because I didn't see sooo many of them. Also, can't wait for the next season! Very interested to see what they're going to do.

Aw.... I wanted to see you guys react to the confetti speech

Pate

Bro, I like to think I've caught all the symbolism and shit like Luke needing to help out his friend Joey because he wasn't able to help what happened to friend Abigail. But the taillights comparison to the red windows--small shook moment! Nice catch. I like that this show is horror genre but actually has a story to tell, with character development. Like what better way to depict being haunted by guilt the way Shirley was? That's a great way to visualize it, it's something that would just follow you around coming back to you at random moments. Plus it's all about grieving. Who can't use help with processing grieving? Thru entertainment? Like Shirley's shame for dropping the ball (not being able to answer the phone) and Nell replying "but you did [answer], so many times." Needed that.

Kim Carragher

Also! I never really sympathized or understood the arc of Shirley's infidelity because it painted her as a huge hypocrite and felt hurried but after watching it again, I realised Theo's speech of "I couldn't see him" applied to Shirley also. She was drowning in grief that she always repressed because she had to be the big sister, and this stranger comes along while she feels this nothingness, So she latched onto him and just like Theo she immediately felt shame (hence the lack of repeat offences). This lead to overcompensating instead of emotional growth, explaining the whole "perfect Shirley" thing. It's not an excuse, but it does make her behaviour less selfish and more broken, like Theo. that choice has haunted her for most of her marriage, so when her husband "betrays" her financially, she essentially attacks him with the anger she assumes she would get in return. But her husband is shown to be forgiving of her mistakes, revealing all of Shirley's fears are just that: fear.

I'd love to see them react to a compilation of the hidden ghosts.

outdoorcats

"Full disclosure: the skit was going to be us scaring the f*ck out of you, Pat" *cut to Pat making surprised Pikachu face* 😂

George Ramirez

“So ghosts are real?” After the end credits of the final episode...I mean!! Bless him.

kdaW

I always figured they can't actually burn the house. Luke tried and was stopped.

Anonymous

Marketa and I had the same reaction for this episode. just crying.

The door to Luke’s treehouse when Steve came in the first episode was red

bits

Really?! Cool, I didn't notice that.

Shane Kimbrell

I haven't sifted through the comments yet but the original ending was a lot more sinister than what we got. Apparently they planned on showing the end scene with Luke with that same window in the background leaving you knowing they were all dead.
