Hey everyone! Since we're starting Korra on Patreon today we decided to post this video from a few weeks. A livestream exclusively for our Patrons (so that not too many questions would spam the chat box) We answered as many as we could and we will also try to do so in the comments! (NO KORRA SPOILERS PLEASE) Enjoy this lengthy discussion of the entire series of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Our thoughts, feelings, and hope for the future.

Question: Are you guys gonna react to the Avatar the Last Airbender documentary? Its 30 mins long so it isn't to much. It shows the other side of the show and the people behind it. LMAO, Nahid the Fantastic Four has added a bunch of members over the years. Spider-man, Luke Cage, She-Hulk, Nova, Ms. Marvel are a few... The FF sometimes has to evolve from the core 4 to the family. That’s when they become the Fantastic Family. (I’m a huge nerd.) I think having most of the episodes being the Cozy 4 is preferred, but if Chris, Marketa or Navi ever want to join I’m okay with it. It’s your family. That would be like excluding Suraj from Lost reactions or you from Dragonball Z reactions. (However, never do crazy big groups like the Black Sun episode, that’s too many people. And make sure the Cozy 4 are sitting together so you can edit the others out, j/k!)

having the first episode be with anyone who wants to join;...bad idea. its the introduction, tons of information drops, first time getting to know the characters, you want to be able to hear and take it in

You guys said alot of stuff that will definetly be in Avatar Korra. So stay tunned! Also I recommend reading all the comics before you start that series. It offers a lot of context! You get more understanding about the changes between the end of the 100 year war and the beginning of Avatar Korra.

I say let Chris marketa and Navi join if they want but no one beyond that. That would be too many people and it needs to be as silent as possible to not miss anything

You can flip through the comics in under an hour. But I don't think they are essential reading.

Guys, y'all are missing it. The sub move for air would be void or vacuum. Or controlling the density of the air. If the user expanded the density of the air it would become a vacuum where no sound can be transmitted and blood and body water inside someone would literally boil away because of the lack of pressure.. if they increased the density it would cause the air to heat up to the point of boiling. Also they could use the void to suffocate people or extinguish flames by removing the oxygen that fuels it. It could also turn water into steam rendering in useless. The only element it couldn't effect is earth

You could definitely read the comics during or after Korra too. They won't really spoil anything for Korra, but they also arent necessary knowledge for it, and Korra's first episode I think is best if you view it without having read all the comics at least. The Promise and The Search are the ones that give the most Avatar closure and spoil the future the least

For the full plot they are indeed essential reading, or else you don't find out what happened to Zuko's mother, you don't find out what happened to Toph after the war, and an entire subplot that essentially paves the way to the beginning of Korra
