Rana says "good for Buffy" for taking the time to find out what's going on with Spike, and she is completely right. The thing about Buffy though, and the reason she does this, is that she is a hero. That's why she has an entire show about her. And unlike a lot of other heroes in popular culture, she is more than just physical strength - she is also emotional strength, resilience, compassion and intelligence. And that's what makes this such a brilliant and timeless show. Buffy is someone to be looked up to, and there's a good reason why "What would Buffy do?" is a concept that a lot of fans use to get them through hard times and choices in life.
