#SUNDAY RUNDOWN The bleach anime tends to drag a lot which is why many prefer the manga faster pace and the gore. Good thing TYBW fixes both which is peak btw can’t wait until you arrive there. Side note Bleach’s writing style is very different than a typical shonen it’s very poetic and character focused so it may seem boring to a lot who only care for the big fights or need information spoon fed, but there’s lots of nuances and foreshadowing, which you’ll come to see. Next 5 or so coming episodes are great can’t wait for them

#Sunday Rundown #Bleach Just to further clarify some stuff that was said, yeah 227 is canon but was also originally put in a much earlier place in the manga (during the Soul Society arc). The process when creating fillers back in the old days was to try to include as much of the extra content from the manga volumes as possible to make it seem like you're still kind of watching the story. Only after the extra content is exhausted, they try to create their own filler arcs. In general filler in Bleach can be weird. Given the structure of the story it is often very hard to insert made up side-stories alongside the canon content. That's why you suddenly have alternate reality filler arcs before/after major fights because realistically speaking they can't be put anywhere else. Remember, this entire Hueco Mundo/Fake Karakura business is taking place over a couple of days at best and is basically a non-stop barrage of fights that continue to escalate. On another note, there is a very good short story about Hitsugaya's connection to his zanpakuto Hyorinmaru that also shows how he and Rangiku first met. If you would be interested, I could edit that for you. It's only about 5 minutes long. There are also 2 other episodes in the future I could cut down immensely by just omitting about 15 minutes of recap that happens in the middle. Let me know if you would be interested in something like that :)
