Interdimensional TV baby, what's better than that?

I mixed my dates and recorded Rick and Morty instead of What We do in the Shadows, you'll get that one on Thursday

They do revisit the interdimensional cable concept later, but it's a bit disappointing compared to this episode, which was good. 🙂 I think there are other shows which would have 'forgotten about' the events of Rick Potion #9, perhaps so that it didn't matter so much which order the episodes were shown. Summer sounds quite upset initially when she says "You're not my brother?!", but Morty manages to twist that into something strangely comforting. Not that I agree with his 'nothing matters' take on things, of course. 😀 We may all just be finite, mortal specks of dust in the great scheme of things, but there are things to do, people to see, books to read, TV to watch. That does matter. Oh, I seem to have also arrived at 'come watch TV' though, just like Morty. 😂

By the way, have you watched Bojack Horseman? I think it *might* be your type of thing. It takes a little while to get your head around where it's going (as it's a show about an anthropomorphic horse! 😀), but it gets very dark and complex (and really pretty funny at times!). I think it's one of the best shows in recent years. Also, thinking about live-action shows, have you seen Breaking Bad? That's also a great show, with some complex and interesting characters.

I've not seen Bojack Horseman but after the surprise of Rick and Morty I'd be willing to give it a try once I get a free spot. And I did start Breaking Bad but I can't remember where I stopped

It is a very surprising show. It's definitely another show in which things that happen don't get forgotten about. Be warned though, I'm not kidding about it going to some very dark places if you do decide to react to it. 🙂 I definitely don't regret watching it, though I found it hard to watch at times.

I think the inter-dimensional shows were improved by a comedian instead of written by writers and they just did the animation to match whatever he came up with.
