Great reaction... Elaine pushing people violently is a running gag in the series, everyone just takes it and shakes it off like it's normal... It's one of my favourite things she does... If you ever get a chance, I do recommend the 'Marine Biologist' pisode... It's genius...

that truly is a good episode, but not for someone new to the show in my opinion. its very early in the series, they hadnt reached their comedic stride yet, kramer isnt in it, and while we may appreciate it all taking place in 1 big scene, many others (including network execs at the time) would say NOTHING HAPPENS!

I agree with everyone, more Seinfeld! 😀 Season 4 is the one with an arced theme beginning with the 2nd episode and ending with the season finale. To get a quick character study of the main characters, Jerry, George, Elaine, Kramer and his neurotic friend Newman (The guy who did a happy dance for his Jambalaya), you can see the episode S04E18 "The Old Man", it's a standalone episode that won't spoil the arc.

Elaine was evil, and that's what the show is. It's about bad people being constantly selfish and going to extra length to get even. If you like Jerry Seinfeld's humor, you can watch some stand-up from him. I know on Youtube there's a full one from around that era, it's really good. I like that he doesn't need to yell of say curse words to be funny. But also yeah, the show is awesome. Really awesome. I just finished re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-watching it and I love it.
