When he lit me up with reds and blues, I genuinely thought I'd done something wrong. Then I noticed the license plate was wrong and the driver wasn't acting like a cop pulling me over.

I fled, he followed, I called police. He gets out of his car at a stop sign with "the club" and comes up to my window. He may have seen me reaching for my firearm. He walks briskly back to his car and then tries to flee.

I do my best to delay him so the State Trooper can get there. It *almost* works. He drives right in front of the Trooper but can't be caught in time. 

I went to the State Police barracks and made a full report, including the raw video.

The state police always take forever to get where ever you are. I had a road rage incident a few weeks ago the Statey took an hour to get there. A Gold Car wanted to get by me, so I slowed down to get behind a White Jeep in the other lane. But when I slowed down, the Gold Car got into the other Lane, and when he started honking at the White Jeep, he Slowed down. At that point I speed up, the Gold Car comes over into my Lane, and got in front of the White Jeep, just to give the guy a lane. Once the Gold Car got in Front of me, he slammed on his brakes in the middle of 309, So I pulled off on the side, and went around him down the Exit Ramp. The Gold Car then came racing down the Exit at me, came up along side of me and Tossed an Arizona Drink Bottle. (I don't know if you ever tried to break one on the sidewalk, but they just bounce) So the bottle hit my car, and at this point I was like ok I need his License place # to give to the cops because my car is now damaged. So I followed him for .25 miles to get the Plate #, he is pulling up to the Light at the hospital, I see the Light is Red, I stop my car about 2-3 car lengths back as to not come close and he gets out of his car, comes running at my car and starts punching my Driver Side Window, Cursing and Screaming at me, all while I was on the phone with 911.

Oh, wow, I'm sorry to hear that. It also doesn't surprise me at all with the way people drive and how quick they are to anger around here.

Good on you for staying level headed and having the presence of mind to act towards getting the guy off the road instead of only trying to evade. I've had my fair share of road rage experiences but never had a situation escalate beyond aggressive "retaliatory" driving, thankfully this ended without any injury or property damage.

Yep made it out Ok! I talked to a friend who Knows the person. They told me he is a Hot Head, and I checked his record and he has 2 arrests for Fighting/Harassment. I'd rather him get some help for his anger, I guess that would be up to the judge.
