[Conf Call] September and Beyond (Patreon)

Hey all, Misty here!

Looking at the month ahead, I want to make a push to have more stories available on the site—which anyone in the Readers or Publishers club will get to see early—and posting the PDF/EPUB files on itch so you all can download them even if Patreon goes down/kicks out NSFW.  Stories on the docket between now and let's say the end of October are:

103 - Unethical Advances which I have been kicking around some edits on this one for a while now, mostly to give it a broader context and to firmly root it in the same universe as Eros Corp.

105 - Djinni Wishes which I had gone one way with the revisions, and I am not super happy with them. Frankly, the microfiction version of the story was sort of a mess, so this one might take a little while longer to untangle.

107 - Potion Making Mishaps which I plan to reset a bit and to have the two witches being college-age interns instead of Fifth Years at some Hogwarts analogue. 

108 - A Rezz Amiss which will be getting some more depth to the sensory elements and a bit more of an ending.

110 - The Difference of Five Years which is honestly so wide open I have no idea what to do with it. Torn between putting it in the Ruby City universe or the one for Neo Women.

122 - Fallen Atop the Mountain pt.2 which is a tough cookie, honestly. I actually want to revise the whole series as one chunk and put it out as a novella. So the version for this chapter and the others that go up on the site will probably be pretty close to the originals on Tumblr.

123 - Hips that Fill Doorways which is getting unpacked a bit to have more scenes with Beverly growing and to build her relationship with Nell into something more than a throwaway mention.

224 - Wishful Downloads which still needs a similar segment to ones for April and Vanessa for Whyn which will come with a bit more of the frame story about Marco as well, before it can get down to the plot moving forward.

225 - TBD which is the story tied to [the poll I posted] the other day.  Beyond that, I want to finish up the changes to Demoness Costume pt. 2 and have part three drafted by Samhain. As far as my collaborative projects go, Bury-She has taken a hiatus and Graci is working on another story at the moment, so nothing much on that front.

Working on a few improvements and features for [MistyFFiction.com]. Character profiles are one, the goal being that the meta-data from characters in the story will be included in search results when you search for a story with certain features, tropes, themes, etc. I also want to build a browsing filter page that will return a range of stories matching specified criteria (like the SQL search on OFB) that will make looking for similar stories a bit easier.

*Bill and Ted Face the Music was superlative, by the way. Keanu and Alex looked like they were having so much fun getting to play "Cool Dads" versions of their iconic duo. Bridgette Lundy-Paine, playing Ted's daughter Bille, absolutely stole the movie. Samara Weaving as Thea was also great and I really hope the girls get to make at least one movie on their own.
