July 7 Patreon Access Errors Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

The support team got back to me and said the issue seemed like it was resolved, but I'm skeptical. Can anyone who still has the issue and hasn't resolved it on their own comment on this post? I'd just like to gather some of the usernames from my messages and comments and send them to the support team as proof that there's still an issue. It's important however that you don't try to fix it on your own for the next few days, or else they'll just assume the issue resolved itself.

If this is still a problem, then it has probably affected a ton of people who haven't actually kept up with the situation and don't know how to fix it. Plus I just want reassurance that this isn't going to happen again.

If the issue is actually resolved, then you can all ignore this and move on.

UPDATE: I didn't realize that if it doesn't recognize you as a member then you can't comment on public posts. WOOPS, I thought anyone could comment. I've changed it in the settings so hopefully those still affected can comment now. I also didn't realize that it wouldn't even send notifications for public posts either. Just based on my messages alone though, it seems clear to me that Patreon hasn't actually fixed this problem on their end.
