not sure why they called this Jump the Shark, there a plenty of other episodes that fit that term; never saw this one, fit's the mold, still sucks; would have loved for their new brother to have at least a few episodes....

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm also a fan. I think both of the brothers made great points with the "should Adam have a normal life debate". I think I side more with Dean here, BUT I do think that Sam is actually right because we see it. Adam was murdered. Sam is right to say that he should be trained because he is a Winchester and they are kind of "cursed." Those ghouls came after Adam because he was John's son and they were angry with John. Honestly if John would have told Adam or trained him at some point (I get why he didn't), maybe he would have been able to protect himself or his mom. But it's because he wasn't trained that he couldn't. So I agree that if it would have really been Adam, Sam is right to say that the best bet is to get him trained up and even hunt a little so he's prepared because who knows when something else is going to come after him just because he's a Winchester. But like Dean, I don't think it's necessary for him to make hunting his entire life, like the boys. Also I'm so glad that you're questioning Sam's direction and you're able to recognize what feels like Sam and what doesn't. I'm still a Sam girl but he's very unsettling this season, and I found myself siding with Dean a lot this season. But then again Dean is at times very aggressive too, it's just different with Sam because we're not used to seeing him in such a way. And as far as it seeming like Sam accepted John's double life easier, I just think it comes down to their relationship. Sam had a different relationship with John than Dean did so Dean might feel a little bit more hurt or betrayed. Sam in John's relationship was always a little more combative, so he never felt that closeness.(not that Dean did either honestly.) So it probably wouldn't feel like this great betrayal to him. But that's just what I think. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it and see ya next time!...and sorry this is so long lol
