Agree that much of this episode was Walt experiencing a crisis of conscience as you said, and I think the writers were very smart in how Domingo's death played out. We know the trajectory of where this show is going - given the title - and I think if Walt had to kill him and feel even worse about it - such as in the scenario you described of him just thinking Domingo had taken a piece of the glass but been wrong, realistically for Walt's character it'd be hard to imagine that he'd be able to continue on this path of "breaking bad" (which we know he's going to). It would have made for great drama in this episode, but then how would he come back from that? Anyways, excited to see you witness the development of these characters - even though I know at the time of writing this you've finished the series 😝
