I loved the old gossip girl purely for the time that it was made in. I don’t think a reboot in the generation we’re in makes any sense. I don’t think it’s fun to watch those same storylines in the perspective of 2021. We’re no longer so dazzled by the celebrity/rich lifestyle like in the 00s where old money was everything. I’ll still give it a shot but I’m not convinced.

The teachers acting was just awful and cringe and I feel like there’s no chemistry between the main cast! I’m still going to give it a chance to see if it gets better.
