Father K is the middle man between the humans and vampires. He makes the deals happen. If marcel would kill him the humans would retaliate and stop giving the vampires food and expose them.

They don’t believe that the witches are telling the truth about being able to resurrect them. The witches lied before so Davina believes they could be lying again.

I don’t think Sophie or her sister saw this harvest in their lifetime because she said she always thought it was a myth. So I think it’s a ritual that’s only done ever so often.

Sophie explained that the harvest apparently happens every 300 years. This is why she didn't believe in it. She says it was like Noah's ark to her.

I love how we learn more about Marcel this episode. I respect his rule about not abusing kids. A lot of vampires don't feel the same. So, we know he has some moral code which I appreciate. I also love the parallels between Klaus's relationship with Marcel and Marcel's relationship with Davina. I love how Marcel saw something of himself in her.

Wow, the witches are so interesting, is amazing to see how a coven works because we haven't seen that so far in The Vampire Diaries, I am assuming that witches practice different magic all around the world and this harvest ritual is so interesting. Like I said this show is so mafia-like I don't even know what side I am on. Everybody has their own agenda, but magic is so interesting, do covens have different ways to operate? Are the french quarter witches' magic more powerful or what is the difference between being part of a coven and being like Bonnie who is a lone wolf in the witch department. I am excited to see more about witches' lore and how it all works. I like Davina a lot I don't know why exactly I just like her.

I love Davina so much! I hate how so many people dislike her. This season is actually my least favourite, but it is still so good.
