Good reaction. I was so glad to have the part at the end. It really helped to explain what was going on with Dean. He really would prefer being dead over having all of these feelings and losing their Dad. He doesn't deal with feelings very well, and we know that. Really sweet seeing how Sam is always there for his brother, when he does finally opens up. And seeing that Dean does realize what he's doing, even if he can't always let it in. Dean just needs a bit of time. Usually after he blows up and vents a bit. And it is especially hard for Dean because I think he really does see him as the family protector. The one who is expendable. He's the one who should die to save one of them. So his lack of self worth is coming into play here. Instead of him realizing that his dad's sacrifice really shows how much he loves Dean, Dean sees it as a failure on his part. The MOTW does underscore what is going on with the brothers at times. A behind the scenes tid bit is that Jensen actually had to go and walk it off after that last scene. He's so good at just becoming Dean that these scenes are real to him and some times takes him a bit to come out of after the scene is over. Some people around him have said how empathetic Jensen is, even though he's a big goof ball at times, so it makes sense that he could really get lost in Dean's emotions at times.
