Great episode. The executions for cowardice were truly barbaric, yes. Incidentally, it seems that the people executed by the British army during World War I were posthumously pardoned in 2006.

Love a Tosh centric episode, and this is one of the best. Equally beautiful and tragic. As to your question about where 1918 Torchwood took Tommy - basically straight back to the TW base to freeze him.
