I kind wanted to warn you that this show was going to get really dark, but I didn’t want spoil anything even with vague trigger warnings, and since you also watch Shameless I figured you could handle it. The haunted house stuff was really scary and twisted, but maybe watching Crimson Peak last week prepared you for that. And I also like that they didn’t gloss over how Eliot is dealing with the aftermath of Mike being possessed by the Beast and him having to kill him. I kind of like how he didn’t hesitate at the time because he had to act quickly to save another life, but now he is trying to numb his pain and anger. With or without Margot around, Eliot is someone who is prone to heavy drinking, drug use, and excessive partying to try to numb his feelings. He doesn’t like dealing with serious things and finds it hard to open up and be genuine, and often makes sarcastic comments at inappropriate times. I appreciate his brand of sarcasm though.

Yeah but he usually just acts so indifferent and doesn’t seem to care about anything until “Mike” and now he’s lost him which makes him so much more interesting. He’s still trying to act like he’s fine and nothing matters but now it’s coming out as anger which is fun to see because it’s justified even if it wasn’t meant for Alice. Where as Penny hasn’t given me a reason for his anger yet.
